Exhibitors Greet and Speak to Visitors at IBSystem’s Online Virtual Trade Shows

Exclusive Online Tradeshow for Electronics
Design Engineers Set for June 24 – 26, 2003

CAMPBELL, Calif. – May 8, 2003 – VirtualDACafe Summer 2003, an exclusive online tradeshow for electronics designers, announced new technological enhancements to the upcoming show today. When visitors arrive at one of the show’s virtual booths they will now be able to either chat or talk directly to booth representatives. The technology works through firewalls, is extremely reliable, and is OS independent. All that’s needed is a microphone and speakers.

The VirtualDACafe show, slated to begin June 24, allows visitors to experience all the benefits of a physical trade show from the comfort of their desk, wherever they are. Companies will greet and speak with booth visitors, handout literature, show presentations, deliver software, and even give visitors their business cards.

Exhibitors use an intuitive admin console to completely manage and configure their booths. They are able to configure the booth's color scheme and messages, include multimedia, deliver their business cards and more. A comprehensive visitor reporting and tracking system is built into each exhibitor's console that replaces the card-swipe system used at physical shows.

The June VirtualDACafe show follows on the heals of two previous and successful EDA shows, and is timed to allow companies who have prepared material for the Design Automation Conference (DAC) to get double use from it. David Heller, IBSystems President said, “Companies spend thousands of dollars preparing material for physical shows that now draw a limited audience. Our virtual online shows give companies a cost effective way to recycle their material to maximize its value to a large and targeted audience. It just makes sense.”

The interactive VirtualDACafe Summer 2003 will be live from Tuesday, June 24, 2003 through Thursday, June 26, 2003. After that, it will be available on demand through August 1. An early-bird registration form, sweepstakes entry and demonstration booth can be test driven now at www.virtualdacafe.com .
